During the puja at Tantibazar, 3 to 4 miscreants suddenly hurled an object like a petrol bomb at the temple. But it didn't crack in the end. While trying to catch the criminals, Jhantu (45), Sagar (38), Md. 4 people named Khokon (35) and Vrat (26) were injured. Later, the police arrested 3 suspects from the spot. After admitting the injured to Sir Shalimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, Advisor to the Ministry of Local Government Hasan Arif visited them.

Meanwhile, the Dhakeshwari National Temple area is surrounded by flawless security around the arrival of the Chief Advisor to the Interim Government. The visitors coming to Mahanavami had to face some irony. Sharidiya Durgotsav, which started last Wednesday, will end on Sunday on Vijaya Dasami with the dedication of idols at Dhaka's Sadarghat.
