Narayanganj: Siddhirganj of Narayanganj from the tenant's house. Police recovered the dead bodies of Abul Kalam (62) and Amena Begum Maina (57).

Their dead bodies were recovered from the rented house of expatriate Abul Kalam Azad near Painadi Government Primary School in Painadi Madhyapara at 8:30 pm on Friday (October 18).

The deceased md. Abul Kalam Mizmiji is the son of Khalil Munsi of Batanpara area and Amena Begum Maina is the daughter of Arab Ali Sheikh of the same area. Their village home is in Balurchar area of ​​Ramgattir police station in Lakshmipur district.

Narayanganj District Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) after receiving the news. Senior police officers including Tariqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (A-Circle) SM Zahirul Islam and OC Al Mamun of Siddhirganj Police Station rushed to the spot.

The people of the house said that at 2 o'clock in the afternoon they didn't get any response because the door was open and the husband was inside the house. Abul Kalam and his wife Amena Begum found Maina's dead body on the bed. Later, the local people informed the police and the police came and arranged to recover the body.

Rokeya Begum, the landlord's wife, said that they had been living as tenants in their house for the past one year. His two sons are married and live elsewhere.

Elder son md. Manik said his mother was a cancer patient. Father was also suffering from various diseases including diabetes. He thinks that after seeing the death of one, the other died of a stroke.

An eyewitness named Abdul Matin said that both were sick for a long time with various diseases. They have two sons. They are two car drivers. They live separately from their parents.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) of Narayanganj District. Tariqul Islam said at 8:30 pm, the bodies of the husband and wife were recovered together. CID's crime scene has been informed. They will actually send the two bodies to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for post-mortem. The actual cause of death can be ascertained after receiving the post-mortem report. Legal action will be taken in this case.
