VIDEO: Five wickets on five consecutive balls, this feat happened for the first time in the history of 116

New Delhi. Taking a hat-trick on the cricket field is every bowler's dream. You and I must have seen bowlers taking many hat-tricks on the field. But you might not have heard or seen about a bowler taking five wickets on five consecutive balls in a single over. This was seen for the first time in 116 years of cricket history in Australia when a bowler named Glenn Parker achieved this feat.

Glenn Parker was playing for Brighton in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association against Hoopers Crossing. Brighton's bowlers were being beaten fiercely from the initial overs, then the unimaginable happened. Brighton team captain Pat Cassidy called Glenn Parker to bowl. Glenn Parker took an incredible five wickets in a single over, in five consecutive balls. After creating this history, when Glenn Parker was asked what special he did, Parker said that he was hitting the ball in the right place and the rest of the batsman kept playing him in the wrong line. This was the first triple hat-trick in the history of cricket. Till now this feat had not been done before in first class cricket. The batsman was caught on the first ball of the match, the remaining two batsmen were bowled and two were out LBW.
