October 9: Expanded London-Delhi flight threat tissue paper

Earlier on October 9, there was a stir due to the information of bomb in Vistara airline flight UK18 going from London to Delhi. About 3.5 hours before the flight reached Delhi, a passenger saw a threatening tissue paper in the toilet of the plane. He informed the crew member.

The flight landed in Delhi and was taken to the isolation bay, where the luggage of all the passengers was checked. However, nothing like a bomb was found. After this, questions were raised about the fact that despite receiving information about the bomb, the plane continued to fly in the air for 3 and a half hours. Police questioned the crew members as to why the plane was brought to Delhi despite bomb information.

Permission to land could be sought only in a nearby country. On police questioning, the pilot and crew members said that there was a danger of the plane being hijacked if the flight landed on the way. To avoid this, the flight was brought directly to Delhi.
