Bareilly News: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is taking many important steps to promote religious tourism, one of the important initiatives of which is the development of Ramayana Vatika located in Bareilly. In this garden, various aspects of Lord Shri Ram and Ramayana will be displayed live while preserving the religious and cultural heritage. Now, a 51 feet high statue of Lord Shri Ram is being installed in this garden, which is becoming the main attraction of this project. In view of the importance of this news and the promotion of religious tourism, this is a special initiative, which will provide new dimensions to the religious and cultural tourism of not only Bareilly, but the entire Uttar Pradesh and the country.

Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) has established Ramayana Vatika in Ramganga Nagar, which is a unique garden in itself. The purpose of this garden is to display various episodes of the life of Lord Shri Ram and Ramayana in a lively form. In the garden, the events from the birth of Lord Shri Ram to his Gurukul, exile, victory of Lanka and finally his coronation will be shown. This Vatika will attain a special place across the country, because it will present the importance of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Ramayana to the new generation.

51 feet high statue of Lord Shri Ram
The statue of Lord Hanuman has already been installed under this project. This statue was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself during his Bareilly visit. Now BDA is working towards making Ramayana Vatika even more grand and wonderful. The next important step in this direction is the installation of a 51 feet high statue of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, which will be the main attraction of the garden.

BDA Vice President Manikandan A said that a cost of Rs 10 crore has been fixed for the installation of this statue, which is being borne by the Bareilly Development Authority. Apart from the company making the Statue of Unity (statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel), another company has also given its presentation for this project. This shows that high quality and craftsmanship is being given priority for this project. There is a plan to completely develop Shri Ramayana Vatika within the next 6 months, so that this area can become a major center of religious and cultural tourism.

The establishment of Ramayana Vatika and the statue of Lord Shri Ram will not only become a symbol of religious faith for the devotees, but it will also be a new attraction for tourists, which will also help in the economic progress of this area.
