Come forward and… Amidst the dispute with India, Canadian Police made this request to the Sikhs of the country.

The controversy that started with the murder of Khalistani Nijjar is not ending. After the deterioration in relations between India and Canada, now the head of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) of Canada has made an appeal to the members of the Sikh community of the country. The officer has requested him to help in the investigation. They say they are investigating allegations of violent activity on Canadian soil involving murder, extortion and threats involving the Indian government and need the help of the Sikh community.

“If people come forward, we can help them, and I appeal to them to come forward if they can,” Police Commissioner Mike Duhem said in an interview with Radio-Canada. “People need to feel safe in Canada.” “And our job as a law enforcement agency is to make sure that they live in an environment that is safe to live in.”

During a press conference earlier this week, Duhem had alleged that Indian diplomats have links to criminal gangs in Canada, including the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. RCMP have charged eight people with murder and 22 others with extortion in connection with these investigations. However, Canada has not been able to present any evidence against India in the case of Nijjar's murder.

Canada has repeatedly alleged that agents of the Indian government were involved in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June 2022. India has recently rejected Canada's allegations calling them absurd. India has denied these allegations and called it part of Justin Trudeau's vote bank politics. As tensions escalated, both countries have instructed each other's diplomats to leave the country.
