Bilateral relations between India and Canada have deteriorated sharply within two days. Now Britain has also jumped into this tension and controversy. Britain has also expected India to cooperate in the Canadian investigation. Britain on Wednesday said India's cooperation in Canada's legal process is the “right next step” in the ongoing diplomatic dispute between the two countries. Along with this, Britain has said that it has full confidence in the judicial system of Canada. Britain is the third country which has said such thing. Earlier, America and Australia have also said similar thing after Canada's request.
In fact, when Canada again made fabricated and baseless allegations on Monday in the case of murder of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, India gave a befitting reply by summoning the High Commissioner in charge of it in New Delhi. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been left fuming after New Delhi decided to recall its diplomats and officials from Ottawa due to security threats and expelled six Canadian diplomats. Trudeau immediately started contacting the countries of the 'Five Eyes' alliance and started provoking and mobilizing western countries against India.
What are the five eyes?
Five Eyes is an intelligence alliance, which includes five countries. These five countries include America, Britain, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. In 1946, there was a bilateral agreement on surveillance and intelligence sharing between these five English-speaking countries and their security agencies. Under this, the members of this alliance i.e. NSA of America, GCHQ of Britain, ASD of Australia, CSEC of Canada and GCSB of New Zealand are included. This Five Eyes Alliance is considered to be the world's most powerful network of intelligence agencies. Canada joined in 1948 and Australia and New Zealand joined in 1956. It was used extensively during the Cold War to keep an eye on the Soviet Union.

Experts say that this intelligence alliance cannot do anything except putting pressure on India and it is more likely that the fifth country involved in it, New Zealand, will stay away from the latest controversy. Apart from this, it is also being said that Justin Trudeau could not get the kind of support he had expected from these countries in the case of the murder of Khalistani terrorist Nijjar. So far, America, Britain and Australia have given a measured response in this matter. Similar diplomatic understanding and cooperation is being expected from them in future also. Trudeau has tried to create a maze against India through the total alliance, but it seems to be failing.
