These signal lights will be installed at Shiksha Bhavan intersection, Kadam Foara and Matsya Bhavan intersection, Shahbagh intersection, Kakrail Mosque intersection and Minto Road intersection. Later these traffic signal lights will be installed through Intercontinental Junction, Bangla Motor, Caravan Bazar, Farmgate, Vijay Sarani, Jahangir Gate, Mohakhali, Khilkhet, Airport till Abdullahpur Junction.
Professor Moazzem said that this traffic signal system made from BUET can solve 80-90 percent of traffic congestion. It is being implemented from BUET's Transportation Engineering Wing.
