Bihar: CM Samrat Chaudhary accepted Rabri Devi’s challenge, sent police to vacate the bungalow – Patna Police Team Reached The Residence Of Former Cm Rabri Devi: Controversy Over Eviction Of Bungalow Rjd

Patna Police team has arrived to vacate the government residence of Rabri Devi, former Chief Minister of Bihar and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council. Secretariat reached DSP Dr. Anu Rabri’s residence on Saturday evening. According to sources, he discussed the matter related to vacating the house and informed about the departmental instructions. He again gave notice to Rabri Devi from the building construction department. It is written in this that now this house has been allotted to Minister Nandkishore Ram. Therefore vacate this bungalow as soon as possible.

This action has been taken when former CM Rabri Devi, while talking to the media at Patna Airport, gave an open challenge to the government and said that Samrat Chaudhary should call his police force and get the bungalow vacated, but I will not vacate my residence. There was a political uproar after his statement. Just a few hours after Rabri Devi’s challenge, the police arrived to vacate the house.

What did the building construction department say?

It was told by the Building Construction Department that on 25 November 2025, being the Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, Rabri Devi was allotted the second government residence at New, 39 Harding Road. Bungalow number 10 situated on Circular Road has been allotted in the name of Minister Nand Kishore Ram. The department says that despite the new allotment the bungalow has not been vacated yet. Regarding this, notices have been sent thrice to Rabri Devi by the Building Construction Department. But, till now he has not vacated the house.

Know what RJD said?

Politics has heated up on this matter. RJD chief spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav said that along with Rabri Devi, Lalu Prasad also lives in 10 Circular Road residence. Both are former Chief Ministers. The government led by Samrat Chaudhary wants to show arrogance of power. To insult Rabri Devi, the bungalow has been allotted to another minister. This is petty politics. Whereas spokesperson Ejaz said that this politics is going on to subdue Lalu Prasad’s family. Everyone knows that Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo has gone to Singapore for health checkup. Despite this, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has lost his human sensitivity. Rabri Devi has been living in this house for the last 20 years. Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav also live here. Despite this, the government sent police to the residence today. This is injustice.

Lalu Yadav Residence: ‘Call forces, will not vacate’, Rabri Devi’s reply on notice to leave government residence

Government bungalow is not private property of any person

Vice Chairman of Bihar State Child Labor Commission and BJP leader Arvind Kumar Singh, while making a scathing attack on RJD and Lalu family, said that the mentality of taking over government property is against both democracy and the Constitution. He alleged that even today in RJD the family order is considered the final truth. A government bungalow is not the personal property of any person. This facility is given only on the basis of post and responsibility. When a person ceases to hold office, he has to vacate the residence as per the prescribed rules.
