Patna News: Good news came out from the Transport Department for the people of Patna on Monday (October 14). Transport Secretary Sanjay Kumar Agarwal said that city buses will run on Atal Path and Ganga Path in the next 15 days. This will include CNG and electric buses. These buses will operate every day between Kanganghat and R Block. For this, the route on Atal Path and Ganga Path has also been decided.
You will be able to travel while enjoying Marine Drive
Running of buses on this route will bring comfort to the people going to Patna City. Presently, people who used to go to Patna city in their personal vehicles used Ganga Path (Marine Drive), whereas the main load of air traffic etc. remains on Ashok Rajpath. Now the running of CNG and electric buses will reduce some of the pressure in the city. The journey till R Block and Kanganghat will be jam free. Along with this, passengers will also be able to enjoy Marine Drive.
By running the bus on the new route, the problems of the passengers will be removed to a great extent. This will provide convenience to the passengers going to PMCH. Family members of patients in emergency situations can travel through it. On the other hand, running of CNG and electric buses will result in pollution free travel. According to Transport Secretary Sanjay Aggarwal, many tourist places will also be connected to the route on which operations are being started. This bus route will be very beneficial for those visiting Patna.
What will be the route of operation of buses?
Kanganghat to R Block (Up) via Gaighat, Krishna Ghat, PMCH, Gandhi Maidan, LCT Ghat, Digha Ghat, Stalin Nagar, Kurji Balu Par, Rajiv Nagar, New Patliputra Indrapuri, Mahesh Nagar, Shivpuri, SK Puri, Punai Chak, Mohanpur. Pump House, Daroga Rai Path turn and then finally R Block.
Then in the same way via R Block to Kanganghat (Down) via Daroga Rai Path Mode, Mohanpur Pump House, Punai Chak, SK Puri, Shivpuri, Mahesh Nagar, New Patliputra Indrapuri, Rajiv Nagar, Kurji Balu Par, Stalin Nagar, Digha Ghat, LCT Ghat, Gandhi Maidan, PMCH, Krishna Ghat, Gai Ghat and then finally Kangan Ghat.
