Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to leave the post within the next one year. Politics heated up due to his statement. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has also reacted on this. He said how Rahul Gandhi has said that Narendra Modi’s government will go away after one year. We could have spoken after 2029, but we are so strong that defeating Narendra Modi even in 2029 is not child’s play. He also claimed that Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav cannot defeat Narendra Modi.
‘People have given us the mandate’
Ramdas Athawale said, “We have a clear majority. People have given us the mandate for five years. Our seats may have come down but we have got the majority required to form the government. Our government is going to run till the year 2029. There was definitely some loss in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections but in the assembly elections held after that, there are Haryana, Delhi, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry, where BJP or NDA Success has been achieved.

Akhilesh Yadav’s government will not come to power in UP at all – Athawale
He claimed, “I feel that Akhilesh Yadav’s government will not come to power in UP at all.” There are 403 seats there. I believe that NDA will get more than 300 seats. Will become the Chief Minister of NDA. CM Yogi Adityanath Has done a good job. Goondaraj has been eliminated. We are confident that we will win more than 300 seats there.”

Union Minister Athawale further said, “How can Rahul Gandhi become the Prime Minister? Rahul Gandhi will not get that much majority. If the Congress Party does not get that much majority, then how can he become the Prime Minister? When I was with the UPA, I had told Sonia Gandhi to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister for two-two and a half years. UPA had the majority. But then she did not listen to me. Right now Rahul Gandhi does not see the future of becoming the PM. His future is of becoming the leader of the opposition. They can’t compete with each other at all.”

India’s development is PM Modi’s slogan – Athawale
Responding to the completion of 12 years of PM Modi’s tenure, Athawale said, “Narendra Modi has completed 12 years as Prime Minister, during that time he has awakened the whole of India. India’s development is his slogan, he has played 12 to Rahul Gandhi and the opposition, hence he has completed 12 this year. He will remain the Prime Minister for 15 years. Who says that Narendra Modi will leave after one year?
He said that Narendra Modi has done a lot of development work and hence the Republican Party is with Narendra Modi ji in NDA. I heartily congratulate Narendra Modi ji. There are three years left, in that also he will take the country forward.
