There has been considerable progress in India-Netherlands relations in the last decade: PM Modi
Prime Minister Modi said, we should include the expertise of Netherlands and the speed and skill of India in every field. Referring to innovation and investment, PM Modi said, ‘We need to take India-Netherlands cooperation to new heights in the areas of innovation, investment, stability and defence. Under our shared vision, we are taking India-Netherlands relations to the level of strategic partnership.

PM Modi is twice the age, but his enthusiasm is no less than the youth.
During his meeting and bilateral talks with Netherlands Prime Minister Rob Jetten, PM Modi was seen wearing his trademark attire of kurta and pajama and a half jacket along with a shawl. Almost half his age, 38-year-old Jetten was seen wearing court-pants and a tie. Many videos of their mutual conversation have surfaced, in which it can be seen that even though PM Modi is twice as old as his Dutch counterpart, his enthusiasm is no less than the youth.

PM Modi meets 38-year-old counterpart from Netherlands
PM Modi also met his 38-year-old Dutch counterpart after meeting the royal family of the Netherlands. Prime Minister Modi discussed several important issues during bilateral talks with his counterpart Rob Jetten in the Netherlands. The video of their meeting has also surfaced.

PM Modi meets the royal family of Netherlands, bilateral relations discussed
In the second leg of his five-nation foreign tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands in The Hague, where the strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries were discussed. During this high-level meeting, special emphasis was laid on deepening the strategic partnership between India and the Netherlands in future areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, green hydrogen and water management.

Today’s India is an innovation power – PM Modi
In his address, PM Modi said – In the past years, India has laid 11 times more optical fiber than the distance of the Moon from the Earth. A decade ago we used to import mobile phones, today India is the second largest mobile manufacturer. Apart from this, today’s India has another identity. Today’s India is an innovation power. Today our digital public infrastructure is talked about all over the world. This is a great proof of the innovation of Indians. The biggest step is being taken in chip manufacturing and semiconductor sector in India. Currently work is going on on 12 semiconductor plants in India. Production has also started in two of these plants. This means that now the chip will also be designed in India and manufactured in India.

‘The culture of India is still firmly settled in the hearts of the people here’

While interacting with NRIs, Prime Minister Modi said – Today’s India is going through a phase of unprecedented change. You must have seen recently that India organized the world’s largest and most successful AI summit. Before that, India had also organized a successful summit of G-20. ‘A special incident happened in India 13 years ago’
Addressing the Indian community in The Hague, PM Modi lauded the 2014 Lok Sabha decision when the NDA government under his leadership assumed power for the first time. Recalling the mandate declared on May 16, the Prime Minister said, ‘Thirteen years ago, on this day, a special event happened in India. A strong and powerful government came to power and the rule of a weak government came to an end. The country has developed since then, so it is a special day. The faith of millions of Indians neither lets me stop nor get tired.
