Barisal: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-8) arrested the main accused in the Babugonj sabotage case, Shaheed Payda aka Galakata Shaheed (38).

Earlier, members of RAB-8, Sadar Company and RAB-4, CPC-2 camp conducted a joint operation in Dendabar area under Savar police station of Dhaka district.
In the operation, the main accused in the explosives and sabotage case of Babuganj Police Station, who established the reign of terror in various areas of Barisal, was the mastermind of the terrorist activities. Shaheed Pada alias Galakata Shaheed was arrested.
According to RAB, on September 16, in Kedarpur area of ​​East Bhuterdia of Babuganj, the arrested martyrs and others formed an illegal mob with firearms and indigenous weapons and attacked the token house of the tenant in the government-leased Balu Mahal on the Arial Kha river and damaged the house.
At that time, they looted one hundred and seventy five thousand rupees from the sale of sand in the token house. Fires two rounds of blanks and detonates cocktails to cause havoc and chaos. The terrorists also hijacked two dredgers at gunpoint. Also left the place with various threats including killing the people present. Mo Rafiqul Alam filed a case at Babuganj police station on September 19 as the plaintiff.
There are a dozen cases of drugs, robbery, fighting, robbery, sabotage in various police stations of Barisal district against the arrest. According to RAB, Babuganj police station sent a request letter to RAB to arrest the accused.
In this situation, RAB-8, Sadar Company conducted a shadow investigation and identified the location of the accused through the use of modern information and technology and managed to arrest the martyr with the help of RAB-4, CPC-2 camp. Later, the martyr was handed over to Savar police station of Dhaka district.
