President's rule has been lifted in Jammu and Kashmir. Its notification was issued late night. With this, the way was cleared for the swearing-in of the Chief Minister. It may be noted that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had sent a recommendation to the Center to remove President's rule. President Draupadi Murmu approved the notification before leaving on a three-nation tour till October 19. Now the Lieutenant Governor can soon appoint National Conference leader Omar Abdullah to form the new government.

The India alliance is preparing to send a message of unity and strength through the first swearing-in ceremony of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Along with big leaders of the India alliance, invitations can be sent to the CMs of many states for the swearing-in ceremony of Omar Abdullah.

Sources reveal that the India alliance wants to present the victory of NC-Congress as a defeat for the BJP's agenda. In such a situation, NC is contacting big leaders of India alliance to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Omar Abdullah. According to sources associated with NC, names of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge as well as SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee are included in the invited list.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal can also be called. However, all these names are being decided by NC chief Dr. Farooq Abdullah. A responsible official of NC says that the list is ready. As soon as the date of swearing-in is decided, invitations will be sent to all the guests to attend the ceremony.
