Nahid Islam, convenor of the Jatiya Citizens Party (NCP), said the Awami League should be banned, not the Jubo League and the Volunteer League. He made the call in his Verified Facebook post on Thursday (May 7th).
In a Facebook post, Nahid wrote, “The ridicule of banning the Jubo League, volunteer club will not be accepted. The Awami League has to be banned from declared as a terrorist and fascist organization. The provision of judging as a party in ICT has to be added. '
Immediately after Nahid Islam made the demand, NCP chief organizer (southern) Hasnat Abdullah posted so much on his Verified Facebook ID.
Earlier, Hasnat Abdullah took the position in front of Jamuna, the chief adviser's residence with some party leaders around 9pm. Shortly afterwards, Jubo League and Volunteer League were being banned by posting on Facebook around 9am, said adviser Asif Mahmud.
In the post, Asif Mahmud mentioned, “The Awami League's allied organization Jubo League and Volunteer League are going to be banned. The process is now in the final and is now in the final stages by processing the process. '
