Once upon a time, the paper written on the paper was a great surprise of technology. After that, the form of technology has changed over time – small models, toys or parts have begun to be created in the 3D or three -dimensional printer. However, the technology is now taking place in the construction of the building. Walmart's extension, Marine barracks, and even the construction of experimental houses for Mars, the first 3D printed starbucks coffeeshop in the United States was built.
The fancy Starbucks is set up in Brownsville, Texas. Its construction began in the end of 2021. However, the Starbucks authorities did not say anything about when the building would be launched. However, local Facebook -based news media reported that coffee could start here on April 23.
The project has been implemented by the German company 3D Construction. The company has already built the largest 3D printed building in Europe. The company has used the Kobod BOD -2 3D printer to build the building. It automatically produces the main structure of the building by laying at the level of the cement to the cement from the robotic nosal.
Once the structure is finished printing, people have to put their hands on the construction of the windows, porch and other internal structures. The building is one -storey and its size is 5 thousand 5 square feet. The building will basically be used for pickup and drive-thru (order in the car) order, not to sit and eat coffee.
According to the official license document of 2021, the project's budget was estimated to be around US $ 2 million. However, nothing is known about the final cost.
This is another example of the tide of the 3D printed building in the United States. In other areas of Texas, a company called icon has already completed several housing projects, including Wolf Ranch and Community First Village.
Meanwhile, Japan recently completed the construction of the world's first 3D printed railway station in just six hours.
