SpaceX created history by flying the most powerful rocket, returned to the launch pad after 7 minutes; Video

On Sunday, the world's most powerful Starship rocket made its fifth successful flight. Before this, its four tests had also been successful. SpaceX, the company of billionaire businessman Elon Musk, launched it from Texas near the border with Mexico. The super heavy booster that went into space during the launch was brought back to the launch site and landed on the tower. SpaceX said after the successful launch that it is a big day for engineering history.

The length of this powerful starship launched by SpaceX is 400 feet (121 meters). This is the most powerful rocket ever built. It was launched from the southern tip of Texas near the border with Mexico. This mission, named Flight 5, took off from the launch pad at 5:54 pm Indian time. About two and a half minutes into flight, the Super Heavy booster separated from the Starship upper stage as planned. After this, the separated part was re-entered into the Earth's atmosphere and a controlled landing was made in the Indian Ocean. During this time the speed of the vehicle was 26000 kilometers per hour and the temperature had reached 1430°C.

At the same time, after the flight, at 6 minutes and 37 seconds, the booster landed back on the same pad from where it took off. This is an amazing achievement in itself. The video was greeted with thunderous applause from SpaceX employees and space enthusiasts around the world who watched the live stream. The launch tower was fitted with huge metal rods, called 'chopsticks'. Starship has 33 Raptor engines. “This is a big day in engineering history,” SpaceX said from SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California.

SpaceX said that both the booster and launch tower had to be in good and stable condition, otherwise the result would have been similar to previous launches. During this launch, the super heavy booster that went into space was brought back to the launch site and landed on the tower.
