BNP

With the terms of the reforms, it is repeatedly said that the Jatiya Sangsad elections may be held from December to June. But the BNP is reluctant to give time till June. The party claims there is no reason to delay the election for reforms. They want elections by December. They have taken strategies to keep the government under pressure until this demand is met.

However, the BNP has to take care that if you give a strong program to collect the demand, it does not oppose it. The government will be under pressure but it will not cause any harm – it is thought to be a program. They will discuss with themselves with the parties to determine the strategy. For this, the BNP will hold a meeting with the 12 -party alliance and the LDP on Saturday afternoon and evening. There will also be meetings with other parties in phases, party sources said.

It is learned that the BNP standing committee members met at the party's chairperson's office in Gulshan last Thursday night. The meeting was discussed with the chief adviser and a meeting with the National Unity Commission. Besides, many more issues are discussed.

Sources in the meeting say the BNP's policy makers discussed the meeting with the reform program and the chief adviser. It is decided that the government will be under pressure to collect the roadmap of the elections. Various programs will also be given for this purpose. At the meeting, party leaders said that giving a strong program to collect the demand could be the opposite. Leaders advised to discuss the programs that will not cause damage to the work.

The BNP has been seeking a specific roadmap at the Jatiya Sangsad elections since the interim government took over the state management. The BNP's equivalent parties are similar to this claim. Although the demands of the BNP and the equipment are strong with the time building, the government has not yet announced the roadmap of the elections. In addition, the speeches of some responsible people of the government over the election program have led to confusion. In this situation, the fear of delay in the election has been concentrated in the BNP. The leaders of the party have also complained that there is a conspiracy at home and abroad.

In such a situation, a BNP delegation met with the chief adviser to the state guest building Jamuna on Wednesday. According to the party, the BNP delegation met with the chief adviser to be clear about the smoke that has arisen on national elections in various speeches. The meeting sought a specific roadmap at the election by December this year. On the contrary, without mentioning the specific time, the government has mentioned the election program from December to June next year.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed the disappointment after the meeting with the chief adviser. “The chief adviser said that the elections would be completed from December this year to June this year,” he said. We are not satisfied with this statement at all. '

According to the BNP, he also said that if the elections were not held in December, he said the country would go to disaster. Fakhrul said, “We have made it clear that if the elections are not done by December, then the political situation, economic situation and social situation in the country will be worse and it will be quite difficult to control.”

However, the law adviser to the interim government, Asif Nazrul, said that elections from December to June, it would not be delayed or elected in June. December to June means that there will be an attempt to select as soon as possible. If possible in December, in December, January, the BNP is explained that the elections will be held in January.

Sources in the BNP also say that after the last meeting with the chief adviser, the cloud of fear over the election program has been greatly cut off. BNP policy makers have been assured in what the chief adviser said on the election. Now they will press the government on as much as the election ceremony can be brought forward.

On the condition of anonymity, several leaders of the BNP said that the BNP's conspiracy was convinced by the chief adviser at the election. If the election is delayed, many will benefit. They can hinder elections. There is also a kind of pressure on the government to delay the elections from them. Policy makers spoke on the issue several times at the party's standing committee meeting. In this situation, the government has decided to continue the pressure on the election program in a short time. In this case, the BNP has taken the last time in December.

When asked, BNP standing committee member Selima Rahman told today's newspaper, “We want to trust the government. It is our expectation that they will establish the people of the people through quick elections to bring the country into a democratic system. If the expected election is delayed, action will be taken to understand the situation through discussion in the party forum. '
