BRAC Bank has started organizing the products of women entrepreneurs 'They Entrepreneur Fair 2021'.

Only by the BRAC Bank organized by BRAC Bank to expand the products of women entrepreneurs, 'Tara Entrepreneur Fair 2021' has started. The bank has organized a two -day exhibition to display domestic products made by women entrepreneurs and to create their product market.

Five women entrepreneurs from different parts of the country have participated in this 'They Entrepreneur Fair 2021' with their domestic products. Most of the women participating in the fair are involved in the production sector, who are playing an important role in the spread of the country's heritage. The bank has organized the fair for the third time after last year's successful 'Tara Entrepreneur Fair', where entrepreneurs have given their own stalls at no cost.

Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, formally inaugurated the fair as the chief guest at the Gulshan-Tejgaon Link Road in Dhaka on Sunday (March 7th). BRAC Bank Chairperson Mehria M. Hasan and Managing Director & CEO Selim Reza Farhad Hossain.

Naushad Mostafa, Director of SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited and Deputy Managing Director of SME Foundation Farzana Khan were the special guests at the inaugural ceremony. BRAC Bank Deputy Managing Director and Head of SME Banking Syed Abdul Momen was also present on the occasion.

The exhibition will be open to everyone from 12 noon to 5pm on March 7 and from 9am to 5pm on March 7.

Potential women entrepreneurs have appeared at the fair with boutique, hand-made clothing, handmade crafts, soil and jute products, processed leather products, jamdani and muslin clothing, food products, organic skincare items and bamboo and cane products. Besides, there are bioscope, Iftar and Dinner Food Court, Hawaii Mithai, free mental health consultation centers and checkups and travel and tour consultations including travel and tour consultation.

In order to bring women entrepreneurs to the digital ecosystem, BRAC Bank will provide technical assistance to the QR and card payment to the fair to provide cashless payment benefits. Buyers will enjoy up to 20% discount on any product purchase for QR payment at the fair.

This exhibition is considered as an important platform for expressing their creativity by promoting the products of women entrepreneurs and the invention of products intact. The event will help increase the sales of products to women entrepreneurs and reach more customers in the ongoing Eid shopping.
