Israeli army now blows up three UN bases in Lebanon, had given warning a day before

In the fierce battle against Hezbollah, the Israeli army is attacking the hideouts of terrorists in Lebanon on both the ground and air fronts. In this episode, the Israeli army opened fire on three positions of United Nations peacekeepers in Lebanon. Two peacekeepers have been injured in this attack. A day earlier the Israeli army had ordered UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force) to vacate the bases located near the border, which they refused to obey.

Israeli forces on Thursday fired on two positions used by UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon, the UN force said in a statement on Thursday. There was firing at another location on Wednesday. A UN source said two peacekeepers had been injured in an attack on a base. There were no casualties in the other two incidents. Israel has stepped up its attack on Hezbollah and has told Lebanese citizens not to return to their homes yet.

United Nations ignored Israeli warning

In fact, a day earlier the Israeli army had ordered the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon to vacate the bases located near the border, which the United Nations refused saying that they could not vacate the space for the Lebanese people. The area has been a demilitarized zone since the end of the Lebanon–Israel war in 2006. UNIFIL has established its bases here.
