Mohammedan does not want to play in Bashundhara field

Mohammedan Sporting Club does not want to play Bashundhara Kings ground at Kings Arena. Today, in a letter written to BAFF general secretary Imran Hossain Tushar, the fan-favorite club said so.

According to the sources, this letter of Mohammedan will be discussed in the disciplinary committee meeting of Bafuf. It remains to be seen what they decide.

Mohammedan coach Alfaz Ahmed blamed smoke thrown by fans for the match loss in the Challenge Cup last Friday. Mohammedan has detailed the incident and demanded appropriate action in a letter sent to Buffe this evening.

The Mohammedan club claimed that a group of 50/60 supporters of Bashundhara Kings harassed their goalkeeper with inaudible abuse and whistling of vuvuzelas. Kings fans threw smoke flares at Mohammedan players. This forced the foreign referee to suspend the game.

The letter signed by Mohammedan Club Director-in-charge Kazi Feroze Rashid further mentioned that during every match, Bashundhara Kings' ardent supporters, the group used inaudible abuse and abusive behavior towards the opposing team's supporters, causing the opposing team's supporters to suffer insecurity.

The letter also mentions that Mohammedan no longer wants to play at Kings Arena due to insecurity.
