Nahi Div Suchyagra Medini without a war – It is natural to remember this saying in what the two arch-rivals India and Pakistan have started with the Champions Trophy. Because both parties are adamant about their decisions. In such a situation, the governing body of cricket (ICC) is thinking of going to Pakistan.
It has been reported in different media of Pakistan, including 'Cricket Pakistan', that a delegation of ICC is going to visit Pakistan. It is not yet known when the tour will take place. But it is heard that it could be early next week. It is easy to guess what the topic of discussion can be in such a situation. Because the stalemate over the 2025 Champions Trophy has not yet ended.
The ICC has not yet officially released the Champions Trophy schedule, but the British newspaper 'The Telegraph' leaked the schedule a few months ago. According to the Telegraph's schedule, the tournament is scheduled to begin on February 19. The schedule of the tournament was scheduled to be announced at an event in Lahore on November 11 this year, but the event was canceled by the ICC at the last moment. Because, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) told the ICC that the Indian cricket team will not go to Pakistan due to the lack of permission from the government.
Pakistan is also not a vessel to sit quietly. The PCB also wrote to the ICC asking why the Indian team will not go to Pakistan. In such a scenario, the hybrid model could be the Champions Trophy. It is heard in the foreign media that the tournament may even be removed from the whole of Pakistan. In that case, the ICC event may also be held in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa.
ICC published the Champions Trophy tour schedule on November 16 on its official website. The journey of the trophy started that day from Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. The Champions Trophy will travel to different cities of Pakistan from November 17 to 25. The title will be held in Karachi from November 22 to 25. They will go to neighboring Afghanistan on November 26. The Afghans will have the trophy till November 28. The trophy will be 'at rest' before coming to Bangladesh. The Champions Trophy will be held in Bangladesh from 10 to 13 December.
