Is this why Farooq Abdullah is avoiding speaking on Article 370?
Mallikarjun Kharge had recently said that when the proposal to abrogate Article 370 has been passed in the Parliament, then why is BJP raising this issue. In such a situation, questions of ideological differences started arising in the ruling coalition. However, Farooq Abdullah has made it clear that there is no difference of opinion in the alliance. Is Farooq Abdullah not speaking on Article 370 because there are Maharashtra elections and this issue is being capitalized there? On this he said, “Let anyone say whatever he wants, there is no threat to us.” Maharashtra elections are going on and it will be conducted well.
Farooq Abdullah called Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and told him that now he is free. You can express your views. I hope that he will help in improving Jammu and Kashmir so that unemployment and poverty goes away.
Recently, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha had called a high level meeting regarding security arrangements and development projects but CM Omar Abdullah was not invited in this meeting. When Congress raised questions on this, Farooq Abdullah had said that only one month has passed since we came to power and everything will happen on time.
