Gold worth Rs 4.5 crore smuggled from Bangladesh recovered

A civil engineer was caught with gold worth around four and a half crore rupees. It is said that 5.9 kg of gold was recovered from him. Its market value is 4 crore 36 lakh rupees. The gold was recovered in Anchalpada village under Tentulberia border outpost in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.

It is known that the information about the gold stock in that village reached the BSF through a secret source. The BSF said that a huge amount of gold was smuggled to Bangladesh from that village. But, the border guard's intervention destroyed that plan.

Meanwhile, when the BSF jawans raided the house of the civil engineer, the person got the news again. Seeing the soldiers coming, he ran away. Just then the BSF jawan opened fire looking at the sky. Seeing that, the person was shocked while running away. Then the soldiers caught him.

It is said that 50 gold biscuits weighing 5.9 kg were recovered from his house with a market value of Rs 4 crore 36 lakh. Preliminary investigation suggests that the person took the road of smuggling while looking for a way to make quick money. It is said that he brought this gold from another place and kept it in his house. If the delivery is complete, you will get the money. 500 to 1000 rupees allocated for each delivery.
