A four-year-old girl resident of a village in Kotwali area was playing at home on Sunday evening. The family uncle took her to the field on the pretext of giving her sweet potatoes and raped her. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. The girl reached home late in the evening in a bloody condition. The mother was also in the fields at the time of the incident. When the mother also reached home with the girl, the daughter tearfully narrated her ordeal. He accused a related uncle of the family.
The police sent the victim girl to the District Women's Hospital and when they called the mobile number of the accused, it was switched off. With the help of surveillance team, the location was searched and in about two hours the accused was arrested near Fatehpur Chaurasi town. Told that he was planning to run away to Delhi. The accused used to work as a laborer in Delhi earlier also. On the complaint of the victim's mother, the police have registered a report under POCSO, rape and other sections. Kotwal Shyamnarayan Singh said that the girl's medical examination has been done. His condition is fine now. The accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
Father and elder brother also accused of rape
The father of the accused, who raped his niece, had raped a woman from the neighboring village five years ago. After the report was registered on the complaint of the victim, she was sent to jail. At present he is out on bail. The younger brother had also raped a girl from the village. He has been in jail for four months. The accused are five brothers. Due to this action of father and sons no one got married.
