Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi Gave the slogan of 'Ek hain toh safe hain', on which the opposition parties are attacking. In the latest development, Shiv Sena (UBT) Uddhav Thackeray gave the reason behind why PM Modi gave such a slogan.
During an interview with India Today journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, Uddhav Thackeray said, “One is safe, that is for Modi. He does not want any opponent. Only if there is one they are safe. If any other opponent comes then they will not be safe. If any other person expresses his desire to become the Prime Minister, Modi will not be safe. That is why their slogan is if one is safe.”
Uddhav Thackeray explained the meaning of if you divide, you will be divided.
Apart from this, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Speaking on the slogan 'Bantege to Katenge', Uddhav Thackeray said, “What is the meaning of this slogan? Who will share and who will be cut? Someone tell me how many people were killed when I was the Chief Minister. At that time Delhi was burning but not a single stone was raised in Maharashtra. Wherever these people are sitting, it is a matter of being divided, cut and torn. “His condition has now become such that he will burst.”
The former CM said that they (BJP) have no real issue to talk about, hence they are resorting to this. He is talking about Pakistan in Maharashtra elections. These issues are irrelevant.
What did Uddhav Thackeray say about Hindutva?
Uddhav Thackeray said, 'My father used to say that whenever elections come, the Prime Minister or Chief Minister should not come to campaign for any one party. You take an oath that you are the Prime Minister of the country and not the Prime Minister of any party. If he is the Prime Minister then it is his job to take care of the country. On Amit Shah's statement, he said that I had also called Amit Shah Ahmed Shah Abdali. Who was I when I was with them? I have fiercely targeted BJP, I have neither left Hindutva nor will I leave it.
