Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman said that all the works of the interim government may not seem like a success to everyone, but the failure of this government will be the failure of all of us, the failure of democratic freedom-loving people. He said that the fugitive dictator and his henchmen are continuing to try to prove this government a failure. If this government can be failed, democracy can be failed, billions of people of Bangladesh who love democracy and want to practice democracy can be failed.
On Saturday (November 16), he said this while participating virtually in a discussion meeting on the occasion of the Third National Council of the Nationalist Textile Engineers Association of Bangladesh at the Institute of Engineers in the capital.
Tariq Rahman said that some of the decisions of the interim government seem that they do not want to consider the wishes of the people. Rather, they may want to impose what they think is good.
Commenting on the fact that the people want to trust this government even after many failures, the acting chairman of BNP said that the people do not want to lose their trust. But the question is, does the government want to keep the people's trust? Because if the relationship of trust between the people and the government is close, the conspirators will not have the opportunity to spread the branches of their conspiracy.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Nationalist Textile Engineers Association of Bangladesh newly elected president Fakhrul Alam and others were also present.
