Regional round of “Horlicks Brain Games Olympiad” was held recently. The top 22 talented young students of Dhaka region have won it. The winning students will go to participate in the national round held in Dhaka.
For the first time in the country, the final round of the “Brain Games Olympiad” is going to be held courtesy of Horlicks. Which is the sixth to eighth grade talent development competition that finds out the most talented children from across the country through various challenging games, quizzes and puzzles.
More than 22 thousand students from sixth to eighth grade across the country participated in this popular competition. Horlicks Brain Games Olympiad is an initiative to promote the intellectual development of the growing age group through a variety of exciting puzzle games.
After the online preliminary round, regional level rounds were held at 5 places in the country (Rangpur, Khulna, Dhaka, Chittagong and Mymensingh). Students who won the online round participated in the regional level. A total of 5000 students from across the country, 1000 from each region, are selected for the regional round. Out of the top 1,000 students in the region, 22 students get the opportunity to participate in the national round.
It should be noted that the aim of “Horlix Brain Games Olympiad” is to inspire the next generation with intellectual thinking and problem solving skills. If such competitions are organized regularly, the young students of the country will be able to prepare themselves for the future.
