The allies of fascism are still at large in various places. Announcing their abstinence, the convener of the National Citizens Committee, Nasir Uddin Patwari (Nasir Abdullah), said, 'If the murderers and those who ordered the murders remain because of their skills, then we will be forced to fight another war. Then the students will run the country, the students will be the policy makers.'
He said these things at a rally organized by the National Citizen Committee on the occasion of the 100th day of the July Mass Uprising at the central Shaheed Minar of the capital on Friday afternoon, demanding the trial of the Awami League responsible for the July Massacre and the rehabilitation of the families of the martyrs and the injured.
Nasir said, 'Many of the injured in the movement are still undergoing treatment, many political parties are trying to pocket them with money. We want to say to the political parties, don't play politics with the injured and martyrs. We appeal to the students, you should make that attempt fake.'
Demanding justice of Awami League by forming a people's commission, Nasir said, 'Quickly form a people's commission and bring the criminal Awami League leader Khuni Hasina and her accomplices to justice. Try to rehabilitate the injured and martyrs of the movement. And call on the youth to be ready for the ballot revolution in the next election.'
Convener of the National Citizens Committee said, 'You (different political parties) are trying to shelter teachers-businessmen-intellectuals of Awami League. Don't be such a child. If we see things more clearly in the future, then your business and political art will be forced to take students. If you try to obstruct the desire for reform that has been created through the coup, then in the next election the students will fill your grave with a ballot revolution.'
Sanjida Islam Tuli, the organizer of mother's call in the rally, said, “If we can drive away fascists like Sheikh Hasina, then God willing we will be able to overcome all the other obstacles.” Everything is possible if we all work together. Those who are not getting proper treatment, those who are going to lose their sight, the medical system for them and those who are involved in crime should be prosecuted.'
Akram Hossain, a member of the civic committee, said, 'Awami League said that they will throw Padma from the bridge. But if it comes back, 18 crore people of this country will float in the Bay of Bengal. Body after body will fall but his anger will not end.
