Negligence in this regard will not be tolerated in any way.'
Earlier in the meeting, Health Advisor Nurjahan Begum, Social Welfare Advisor Sharmin S. Murshid, Fisheries and Livestock Advisor Farida Akhter, Advisor Mahfuz Alam, Postal Telecommunications and Information Technology and Information and Broadcasting Advisor Md. Nahid Islam, Youth and Sports and Local Government Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan were present.
Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the student movement, Sarjis Alam, general secretary of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha, the twin brother of Shaheed Mochad and chief executive of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, took part in the meeting. Besides, hundreds of injured students were present in the meeting.
The meeting was scheduled to start at 2 pm. However, due to lack of coordination, the meeting started late by about two and a half hours.
On the previous Wednesday (November 13), a health adviser came under fire at Pangu Hospital in Agargaon while visiting the injured. On this day, the injured blocked the road from noon to midnight. They protested for the treatment and donation of the injured. Later, when the four advisers went and promised to settle the demands, they left the road.
