Arab Finance: The Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib has met with a delegation from Sumitomo Electric-Egypt to review its investment projects in Egypt, as per a statement.
Moreover, both sides discussed the procedures for opening the company’s new factory in the 10th of Ramadan City within the first quarter (Q1) of 2025.
The factory is being established on a 150,000-square-meter area at an investment cost of €22 billion.
The project offers around 3,000 direct job opportunities.
For his part, El-Khatib stressed the ministry’s keenness to support the company in expanding in the Egyptian market and exporting abroad.
