New Delhi. European company Thales will deploy a smart digital platform at seven Indian airports operated by Adani Group. This platform will centrally handle all the required applications to improve the overall management, security and passenger experience of the airport. According to a statement issued on Wednesday, Thales and Adani Airport Holdings Limited have announced a strategic partnership. In this, Thales has won the contract to deploy the innovative Airport Operation Control Center (APOC) in seven airports – Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram.

According to the statement, the cloud-based 'smart digital platform' to be deployed at the airports by Thales will centrally handle all the required applications to improve the overall airport management, security and passenger experience. This soon-to-be-implemented solution will anticipate and mitigate unplanned resource shortages to increase predictability and global efficiency. Thales, an advanced technology provider, has deployed 'Fly to Gate' solutions at these airports from the beginning of 2024. Adani Group said this seamless integration of responsible biometric solutions by reducing passenger processing time at these airports by 30 per cent is in line with the Government of India's vision of Digital India.
