Former LJPR Leader Rakesh Roshan filed nomination for Tirhut Graduate Legislative Council by-election 2024.


Tirhut Graduate Legislative Council By-Election: Former state vice president of LJP (Ram Vilas) Rakesh Roshan filed nomination papers for Tirhut Graduate Legislative Council by-election on (November 12). After filing the nominations, a meeting was organized among the supporters, in which a large number of people were present. Rakesh Roshan had recently resigned from the post of state vice president of LJP Ram Vilas and had announced to focus his politics on the development of Tirhut.

28000 graduate voters have given their support to Rakesh Roshan, due to which the by-election has become very interesting. Rakesh said that due to the politics of the alliance, it was not possible for him to help his people by contesting the elections from here. Because of this, he resigned from the post of State Vice President of LJP (Ram Vilas) and decided to contest the elections.

Rakesh Roshan is the son of late Brijnathi Singh, a popular leader of Bihar. Raghopur has surprised everyone by getting 25,000 votes against Tejashwi Yadav in the 2020 assembly elections. Addressing his supporters, Rakesh Roshan said that his aim is to give a strong political platform to the voices of youth, students and the educated class. He said, “I want the cooperation of every section of the society, so that together we can move towards progress.”

Apart from this, Rakesh Roshan emphasized on the goal of 'Bihar First, Bihari First', but he termed the limitations of the alliance as a hindrance in this direction and also raised questions on the politics of the alliance for the plight of Bihar. A large number of supporters were with him during the filing of nomination. Supporters say that Rakesh Roshan Tirhut graduate has emerged as a hope for a positive change in the area and his leadership can give a new direction to the area. The issue of local versus outsider is also arising in this election.
