Bharatpur District Cricket Association Secretary Shatrughan Tiwari told Local 18 that the Rajasthan team will benefit from Karthik's strong performance in this match to be played from 13 to 16 November. Karthik topped the country in the recently held Vinoo Mankad Trophy by scoring 500 runs and played a brilliant inning of 181 runs in the Cooch Behar Trophy held in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. On the basis of this performance, he has been included in the Ranji team. District Cricket Association Secretary Shatrughan Tiwari informed that Karthik has already represented Rajasthan in Under-14, Under-16 and Under-19 teams. Apart from this, Karthik Sharma is also trained from the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
