BJP on Article 370: Politics is heating up in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly regarding Articles 370 and 35a. There is an uproar inside the House and tremendous rhetoric is going on outside the House as well. BJP has declared the proposal brought regarding Article 370 and 35A as unconstitutional. BJP has attacked the Omar government and said that this government is trying to revive terrorism.
In fact, BJP's national general secretary and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Tarun Chugh, said on Thursday (November 10) that the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly's resolution on Article 370 is completely illegal and unconstitutional. Its objective is to instigate separatist and violent forces within the country.
'Government's agenda to revive terrorism'
Targeting the Omar Abdullah government, Tarun Chugh said that the Omar Abdullah government is trying to rekindle anti-national controversies. Chugh said that the agenda of Omar Abdullah government is to revive terrorism and disrupt the development work being done by the Modi government.
'Abdullah has no agenda for the development of Jammu and Kashmir'
National General Secretary of BJP said that this shows an anti-national politics of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. This shows that they have no agenda for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and instead they want to create an environment of terror and violence. All BJP leaders including Chugh demanded withdrawal of the proposal brought regarding 370 and 35A as soon as possible. At present, due to this controversy, this first session of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly seems to be in turmoil.
