The Gaza war is the Democrats' tomorrow

Donald Trump is leading in the swing state of Michigan. Trump is leading in this state with 50.0 percent of the vote. And Kamala Harris got 48.1 percent votes. Besides, Green Party's Jill Stein got 0.7 percent votes here. The state has 15 electoral votes. However, the final vote count in Michigan is not over yet. Still, Trump is almost certain to win the state.

Trump also received support from Arab Americans in Dearborn, the state's largest Muslim city. According to unofficial results, Kamala Harris received 28 percent of the vote in the city and Donald Trump 47 percent. Besides, Green Party's Jill Stein got 22 percent of votes here.

Early results suggest voters in Dearborn overwhelmingly support Donald Trump. And it's seen as a clear protest against the Biden administration's actions on the Israel-Gaza war.

Voters in this Michigan city have long expressed dissatisfaction with the Biden administration's stance on the Gaza war. However, Kamala Harris had been promising an end to the Gaza war if she won. But his continued support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and repeated arms shipments to Israel did not sit well with Arab-American and Muslim voters.

Jill Stein told Newsweek in September that even Kamala Harris could not win the election.

He cited the loss of 'Orange Muslim and Arab-American support in key states' as the reason.

On Tuesday night, University of Detroit Mercy law professor Khaled Beydoun said in a post on social media X that 'Kamala Harris' loss of Michigan could be due to the Muslim vote.'

“Ignoring the sentiments of Muslim voters in Michigan was a dangerous mistake for the Democrats,” said Mehdi Hasan, chief editor and analyst of JTO News.

Because many Arab-Americans think that Trump can bring about change.

And that belief echoed in the voice of Palestinian American Nabil Hamameh. Arab Americans threw parties in support of Trump. Hamameh was present at that party. “The country needs change and I think Trump can bring that change,” he told Middle East Eye.

Many voters in the city voted for Trump for the first time in Tuesday's election.

But Hamameh has always been a Republican and believes Trump has a good relationship with international leaders and will surely do a better job of controlling Israeli terrorism.

In 2020, Biden won Michigan with 51 percent of the vote; Where Trump received 48 percent of the vote. Earlier in 2016, Trump won by just .02 percent of the vote. Trump won the state with 47.6 percent of the vote, surpassing Hillary Clinton's 47.4 percent.
