Agra News Today: GRP Police has revealed the incident of fire in the bogie of Ahmedabad Agra Express train. In this case, GRP police has arrested two vicious accused. GRP arrested both of them from Agra Cantt Railway Station during checking.
A laptop and 20 burnt pens have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. On October 25, miscreants had stolen a bag from the Swarn Jayanti Express train. Laptop and other items were taken out from the bag. After taking out the luggage, both the accused set the bag on fire in the toilet of Ahmedabad Agra Express parked at Agra Cantt Railway Station.
The stolen bag was set on fire
Due to the spark from the toilet of Ahmedabad Agra Express, the fire spread throughout the compartment. Seeing the fire, there was panic on the spot. GRP disclosed that the arrested accused are professional thieves and commit theft incidents in Agra and Mathura. According to GRP police, the caught vicious thieves have a criminal history.
Disclosing this incident, Agra Cantt CO GRP NH Naqvi said that on October 25, a fire broke out in the bogie of Ahmedabad Agra Express train. He told that when the investigation into this matter was started, a person was seen coming out of the standing train.
What did the GRP police say?
Agra Cantt CO GRP NH Naqvi said that a complete investigation was done with the help of surveillance and the matter came to light. He told that both the vicious thieves were arrested during checking. Both these accused have criminal history.
Agra Cantt CO GRP NH Naqvi said that the accused had set fire to a stolen bag. These thieves used to commit theft incidents in Agra and Mathura.
