This approval comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in this regard, regarding working to expedite the completion of the new labor law and completing the various procedures for its issuance, as it comes among the priorities of the government’s legislative agenda, in view of its important role in achieving the hopes and aspirations of a large segment. In this context, reference was made to the measures taken by the Ministry of Labor, and the meetings, interviews, and community dialogue and consultation sessions held on various articles of the law, with the participation of various local and international stakeholders.
