Nasum Ahmed and Nahid Rana could not leave the country even the day before the match due to visa complications. By doing that, Bangladesh will have to select the XI from 13 players for the first one-dayer against Afghanistan. The three-match ODI series begins on Wednesday at the Sharjah Cricket Ground.
Bangladesh Cricket Board's in-charge of cricket operations Shahriar Nafis confirmed the news to a national daily on Tuesday. He said that Nasum and Nahid may leave for the United Arab Emirates tomorrow after getting the visa.
