Bappa Majumder is a renowned musician and music director of the country. He is well known in the world of Bengali cinema and audio songs. He also has a band called Dalchut. The band has been enthralling audiences since the nineties.
This time Bappa is appearing with Bengali songs in ghazal form. The new project is named 'Anubhav'. It will have 8 songs. The songs will be written by Syed Ghalib Hasan. Bappa Majumdar will compose and compose these songs.
He will also give voice to the songs of the album. Somonur Monir Konal, Tanveer Alam Sajeeb, Yusuf Ahmed Khan and Tina Russell will sing along with him in other songs. Bappa Majumder officially announced this new project at a restaurant in the capital last Sunday. Apart from the artists associated with the album, producer and musician Masud Hasan Ujjal, lyricist Zulfikar Russell, Shahan Kabandh, filmmaker Saikat Reza, musician Elita Karim and others were also present at the event.
About this new project, Bappa Majumder said, 'I have sung many types of songs in my 30-year music career. For a long time I wanted to sing ghazal genre. The plan of Anubhav album is from that idea.
Bappa said that some other musicians may join in the feeling.
Two songs from Anubhav album were released on Bappa Majumdar's YouTube channel last Sunday. Bappa has given his voice in both the songs titled 'Kishki Ki Khelan Nei' and 'Bhul Keri'. The video was produced by Saikat Reza. Both songs are also heard on local and foreign audio streaming platforms including Spotify.
Bappa Majumdar said that the rest of the songs will be released in stages. After that there are plans to release the album in CD form as well.
