Arab Finance: Basil Rahmi, CEO of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, announced the launch of a new financing program in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) aimed at Supporting companies working in the field of solar energy In Egypt, he pointed out that this program comes within the framework of the agency’s keenness to encourage investment in renewable energy and enhance the role of the private sector in achieving sustainable development goals and provide these products at competitive prices for all agricultural, industrial and production projects that can benefit from solar energy as a main source to be environmentally friendly. At the same time, it contributes to reducing thermal emissions.

Rahmi stressed that this partnership with UNIDO comes from the agency’s keenness to benefit from international expertise in the field of renewable energy, in addition to that UNIDO will provide technical support for the program, in addition to contributing to capacity building and developing policies related to solar energy, indicating that the program aims to Providing an integrated package of financing, training and consulting for companies working in this field, in order to enable them to expand their business and increase their competitive ability. The program also aims to encourage more companies to enter this promising sector and raise the competitive capabilities of these companies to reach the Egyptian market at the best price and highest quality.
