De-politicization process underway: JAPA Secretary General

Jatiya Party Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu commented that 'considering the surrounding situation, a non-political process is going on in the country today'. He said, “Some faction is using a section of students to destabilize the country – which is not desirable in any way.”

He said these things at the meeting of additional general secretaries at the office of the Jatiya Party chairman in Banani on Sunday (November 3). This information was informed in a press release this afternoon.

Mujibul Haque Chunnu said, the minus two formula has failed in the past. The ongoing process of de-politicization will also fail. The price of goods in the country is beyond the affordability of the common people, the law and order situation has deteriorated and public life has become miserable. Meanwhile, the government should pay attention.

He said that some miscreants attacked, set fire to, and looted the central office of the Jatiya Party on November 1 and attacked and set fire to the Khulna office on November 2. We condemn these incidents. At the same time, I demand that those involved in this arson be brought under the law and tried.

The meeting was attended by the additional secretary general of the party, Advocate Md. Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, Liakat Hossain Khoka, Md. Zahirul Islam Zahir, Mohammad Atiqur Rahman Atiq, Mostafa Al Mahmud, Monirul Islam Milon.
