Their names are Dilu Sarkar and Prakash Sarkar. Dilu is 20, Prakash is 39. The house is in Gauranganagar area of ​​New Town police station. Both were reported to be intoxicated. Perhaps that's why they couldn't properly assess the issue of breaking the border or its gates. On Saturday morning, the BGB handed over both of them to the police on charges of illegal entry into Bangladesh. On this day, the police took them to court. It is said that they have been sent to jail.

Security has been raised as two Indian nationals entered Bangladesh by breaking the iron gate of Ghojadanga land port after crossing the BSF fence. Strong protest was also expressed by BGB. BSF officials have started an investigation into the matter. It is known that when the car broke through the border gates of both India and Bangladesh at high speed, its number plate came off and fell in Ghojadanga. BSF is searching for the owner of the car with the plate. Besides, the CCTV camera footage of Ghojadanga land port is also being examined. However, the jawans of both countries said that the pickup van was empty.

BGB held a flag meeting with BSF officials late at night. Lieutenant Colonel Ashraful Haque, commander of BGB's Satkhira Battalion, said that there was incoherence in the conversation during initial interrogation as both were intoxicated. They were taken to the headquarters of the Satkhira Battalion. Later they gave their name-identity-address.

Subedar Afzal Hossain, Bhomra Company Commander of BGB said, 'Two Indian nationals entered Bangladesh by breaking the crossing gate at zero point of Bhomra land port with a pick-up van after crossing the security fence of BSF. The crossing gate, three road dividers, bamboo mill check post gate and a motorcycle were damaged.

Ghojadanga Company Commander AC Navin Kumar said, “Drunken, the two men took a car at a high speed and proceeded towards Bhomra land port after breaking three-four motorbikes and two border gates inside India.” He also expressed his regret to BGB.
