BSF is searching for the owner of the car with the plate. Besides, the CCTV camera footage of Ghojadanga land port is also being examined. However, the jawans of both countries said that the pickup van was empty.

Subedar Afzal Hossain, Bhomra Company Commander of BGB said, 'Two Indian nationals entered Bangladesh by breaking the crossing gate at zero point of Bhomra land port with a pick-up van after crossing the security fence of BSF. The crossing gate, three road dividers, bamboo mill check post gate and a motorcycle were damaged.

Ghojadanga Company Commander AC Navin Kumar said, “Drunken, the two men took a car at a high speed and proceeded towards Bhomra land port after breaking three-four motorbikes and two border gates inside India.” He also expressed his regret to BGB.
