President of Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh Imdadul Haque said that they expect 70 percent of broadband connections including homes to be operational by Wednesday (July 24) night.
He told this information to Bengali Tribune on Wednesday.
Imdadul Haque said, 'Broadband internet has already been launched in many areas. We are preparing to give it to the rest of the areas as well. That is why we are working. Still some places will remain. Because, our transmission network has problems at many places. It is being fixed. It will be fully functional everywhere in a day or two.'
Since the internet is coming back after several days, everyone will want to use it. In that case, the internet speed may slow down a bit, he said.
