Tanvir Mohammad has been appointed as the new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO) of Grameenphone, the country's largest telecommunication company. He will serve from November 1. He will play an important role in the management team of the company.
Tanveer Mohammad is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunication sector. He has held various leadership positions in Grameenphone and Telenor Group. Tanveer has extensive experience in various aspects of the business environment, technology integration, regulatory frameworks, climate and sustainability initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, business development and infrastructure.
Prior to joining this position, Tanveer served as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Asia Integration at Telenor Group. Earlier, he held leadership positions in other business units of Telenor, including Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Telenor India and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Grameenphone.
Tanveer graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET) with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Besides, he has completed several prestigious courses on Leadership, Executive Management and Business from National University of Singapore and INSIAD in France and Singapore.
