Durga Puja: Dhaka Ramakrishna Mission's decision not to perform Kumari Puja, why? – dhaka ramakrishna mission authorities decided not to worship kumari in this durga puja

Ahead of Durga Puja, there is an atmosphere of panic across Bangladesh. The administration has assured that there will be adequate security during Durga Puja. But even that does not stop the fear among the Hindus of Bangladesh. Its rays are coming to the Durga Puja of Ramakrishna Math and Mission. This year it has been decided that Kumari Puja will not be held there during Durga Puja. Durga Puja of Ramakrishna Math and Mission means Kumari Puja. Kumari Puja is performed there on the day of Mahashtami. Like Belur Mutt, Kumari Puja is organized in other Ramakrishna Mutts and Missions for Durga Puja. Similarly, Kumari Puja has been organized at Ramakrishna Math and Mission in Dhaka. It was one of the attractions during Puja there too.

However, Ramakrishna Mutt and Mission authorities have decided not to perform Kumari Puja on Mahashtami there this year. Swami Shantikarananda Maharaj of Dhaka's Ramakrishna Math and Mission told the media that earlier Kumari Puja was canceled due to various restrictions during the Corona period. And considering the overall situation of the country, Kumari Puja has been omitted this time. But there will be no deficiency in distributing Puja upachar and Prasad.

However, it is known that Kumari Puja will be held as per rules in many branches of Ramakrishna Mission including Comilla, Narayanganj, Bagerhat, if not in Dhaka. The government of Bangladesh has assured that there will be adequate security arrangements in various pavilions during the puja.
