In the last session of the National Cricket League on Sunday, Sylhet Division ended the day with 130 runs after losing 2 wickets in 22 overs against Chittagong's target of 220 runs. They went into bat on Monday morning 90 runs away from victory. They achieved their first win of the league after losing 2 more wickets in the first session. Although they drew with Dhaka in the first match, Sylhet got the taste of defeating Chittagong by 6 wickets in the second match.

Pinak Ghosh scored 14 and Amit Hasan scored 23 runs on Ground Two of the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday. Sylhet was then 90 runs away from victory. Pinar, who was unbeaten on 14 runs the previous day, got a half century. He was unbeaten after playing an innings of 62 runs off 81 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Amit played an innings of 43 runs. Sylhet reached the target by losing 4 wickets on Pinak and Amit's innings after Taufiq Khan Tushar's 51 and Zakir Hasan's 36.

Among Chittagong's bowlers, Ashraful Hasan and Iftekhar Sajjad took two wickets each.

Earlier, Chittagong was bowled out for 198 runs by Sylhet bowlers. The highest innings of 73 runs came from the bat of Chittagong's Yasir Ali Rabbi. Sylhet also went into batting after tying Chittagong to a few runs. Can only score 152 runs. After leading by 46 runs, Chittagong went to bat in the second innings.
