Several news media reported that the new feature is being added to the beta version of WhatsApp in Android version 2.24.17.24. Go to Google Play Store and update WhatsApp to get the new feature. To get the feature, first go to the Google Play Store and update the app. Go to the 'three dot' menu at the top right of WhatsApp. From there click on 'Settings' option. Now go to 'Privacy' option. From there go to 'Advanced' option. If the feature is added to the beta version of your phone, you will see the 'Block unknown account messages' option. Clicking on it will stop receiving messages from unknown numbers.
