Stock Market BSE Sensex NSE Nifty LIVE Update | 7 November | Sensex opened with a rise of 185 points at the level of 80,563: Nifty rose by 10 points, buying shares of healthcare companies.

Today i.e. on November 7, the Sensex opened at 80,563 with a gain of 185 points. Nifty is also up by 10 points, it is trading at the level of 24,490.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 are rising and 5 are declining. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 32 are rising and 10 are declining. NSE's Healthcare index has the highest rise of 0.94%.

Mixed business for Asian markets

  • In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is down by 0.40%. Whereas Korea's Kospi is trading up by 0.18% and China's Shanghai Composite is trading up by 0.79%.
  • On November 6, the US Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 3.57% to 43,729 and the S&P 500 rose 2.53% to 5,929. The Nasdaq rose 2.95% to 18,983.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹4,445.59 crore on November 6. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹ 4,889.33 crore.

Second day of bidding for Swiggy and ACME Solar Holdings

Today is the second day of bidding for the IPO of Swiggy Limited and ACME Solar Holdings Limited. Swiggy total was subscribed 0.12 times on the first day. The issue was subscribed 0.56 times in the retail category and 0.06 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category.

Whereas, the IPO of ACME Solar Holdings was subscribed 0.42 times on the first day on Swiggy Total. The issue was subscribed 1.28 times in the retail category, 0.16 times by qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and 0.34 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category.

There was a rise in the market yesterday

Earlier yesterday i.e. on November 6, the Sensex had closed at 80,378 with a rise of 901 points (1.13%). Nifty also rose by 270 points (1.12%), it closed at the level of 24,484. At the same time, BSE Smallcap closed at the level of 56,008 with a rise of 1,077 points (1.96%).

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 25 were up and 5 were down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 41 were up and 9 were down. All sectoral indices of NSE were on the rise. The IT sector had the highest increase of 4.05%.
