A total of 1 lakh 27 thousand 198 people from Bangladesh will be able to perform Hajj in 2025. Among them, 10 thousand 198 people (including Hajj guides) and 1 lakh 17 thousand people can perform Hajj through private agencies (including Hajj guides).
This information is known from a letter sent by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to the Hajj agencies on Wednesday (November 6) dividing the quota of 2025 pilgrims.
The letter informed that the Hajj of Hijri 1446/2025 will be held on June 5 next year subject to moon sighting. This year, Bangladesh has been allocated a quota of 127 thousand 198 pilgrims by the Saudi government.
According to the letter, the Hajj guide has to complete all the tasks, including pre-registration, like a pilgrim. The list of Hajj guides should be sent to the Ministry of Religion within the stipulated time. Hajjatri registration for next year's Hajj has started from September 1. Registration will continue till November 30.
Sources of the Ministry of Religion said that according to the information of Hajj portal till 6 pm on Wednesday, a total of 10 thousand 787 people have registered, including 2 thousand 945 people under government management and 7 thousand 842 people under private management.
